The Richmond Rugby Football Club would like to extend out an invitation to any Shirley RFC players who are looking for an opportunity to play rugby overseas in Canada. Over the years we have accommodated Shirley players and vice-versa and the experience has been fantastic. Our club is dedicated to finding proper accommodation and work during your stay to make sure that all your needs are taken care of without any worries.

Richmond BC is 15 minutes south of the downtown core of Vancouver. The people are great and the night-life is even better.

Spalding Rugby Club - UK

Many of our members who have travelled to the UK on their OE may have passed through the lovely town of Spalding, some have stayed and enjoyed a season or two of rugby at the Spalding Rugby Club. The trail blazer being our own "Bomber McIntosh". Some of you who were around in the early nineties may well remember a couple of players who arrived from Spalding namely Wandie and Dogs Bollocks.

Wandie has been in touch and Spalding RFC are keen to instigate a reciprocal relationship for Shirley players wishing to travel and play rugby in the UK. Spalding is two hours north of London and the club shares many common values with Shirley rugby. They are happy to help players find accommodation and work in the area and to ensure players are well looked after and enjoy their experience.
