Sponsorship
Shirley Rugby Football Club Incorporated has been part of the Christchurch rugby scene since 1917. We field senior teams across the open grades, including a Premier side, a previous Premier Reserve Trophy winning team and the Classics Shirley W's, alongside our junior section.
We are located at Burwood Park and offer opportunities for experienced and new rugby players.
Two ways to back the club
Club Viking Sponsorship
$1,000 + GST
- We actively promote your business to our members through this website
- Exposure through the club’s social media, on Facebook at @shirleyrugby and Instagram at @shirleyrugbyclub
- A feature in our regular club newsletter
- Your company sign at the clubrooms
- Two twelve month memberships to Shirley Rugby Club
- Two complimentary tickets to the Senior Club Dinner and Prizegiving, and to the Junior Prizegiving
- A preferential invitation to all Shirley Rugby social activities
- A special rate on clubroom hire
Vikings Supporter Club
$100
The Vikings Supporter Club is the way in for anyone who wants to back Shirley without pulling a jersey on. It is a non playing social membership of the club, and it is open to everyone: old boys, parents, partners, neighbours, people who last played here in 1985 and people who have never played at all.
- An SRFC non playing social membership
- An invitation to the club’s events and functions through the year
- Your $100 goes straight into junior and senior rugby at Shirley
Mostly, though, it is a reason to be back at Burwood Park. Catch up with people you have not seen in years, get to know the ones running the place now, and watch some rugby with a beer in your hand. Plenty of members join for the club and stay for the company.
Email us and we will send you an invoice.
Both are handled through the club. The Supporter Club is open to anyone; for Club Viking Sponsorship, talk to Westy. If you want to see the company you would be keeping, our current sponsors are all on one page.
