Shirley Vikings are delighted to announce the appointment of Brian Moylett as Div 1 Head Coach.

Brian played underage rugby for Leinster Rugby, Connacht Rugby & IrishRugby . He captained the Connacht u20 team to an interprovincial title, represented the Connacht Eagles and won multiple All-Ireland titles with Lansdowne FC .

He began coaching junior sides in Lansdowne fc and in 2016 joined Lindenwood Rugby in St Louis, USA, as a player coach. While in St Louis he also coached both Lindenwood University Women's Rugby and The Royal Ramblers to National Titles.

Since 2018 Brian was living in Vancouver where he played with Ravens Rugby - UBCOB and BC Rugby . He coached UBCWRugby, Meraloma Rugby and Canada West Senior Men.

Brian decided to move to Christchurch in February of this year upon the the recommendation of Crusaders Manager Shane Fletcher. This year Brian has coached at Burnside Rugby Football Club and was in the Canterbury Rugby u19s coaching group.
